*The scarab was the most revered symbol of the ancient Egyptian culture. Rolling it's dung ball around, the scarab was thought to represent the force that kept our solar disc moving across the sky. The winged scarab, therefore, holds a greater meaning than any other Egyptian symbol by connecting the earth with the sun. Being a symbol of rebirth, the winged scarab was often placed over the heart of a sarcophagus to ensure a souls reunion with the Sun God, Re, or Ra. Scarabs were believed to be a positive life force which, when worn, raised the bodys vibrational frequency to hold more light.
