An old photo of Hubert de Givenchy's muse Bettina got Riccardo Tisci thinking "gypsy" for Resort 2013. Scarf prints are the collection's dominant motif, but bohemian this isn't. Tisci cut the swirling paisleys in shades of red, blue, and gold with geometric blocks of black and white. If he's the one who made the fashion world mad for prints, their graphic treatment here puts him ahead of the field once again.

Combining a sleek silhouette with innovative details, the classic Fred Perry bomber is given a subtle twist with a secondary button-off collar; when removed the detachable pop coloured collar reveals a self-colour collar beneath. The collaborative Raf Simons jacket is crafted in stretch cotton for an enhanced fit and lined with a soft cotton floral print shirting fabric. Lines are kept clean with a self coloured press stud fastening to the front and soft navy coloured rib details at the cuff and hem. Daiki Suzuki's take on the classic Duffle, made from a heavy wool with his custom camo pattern, tonal leather and cord details.

Engineered Garments took its brand name from a pattern maker hired to draft the first round of patterns. She claimed that the clothes were not designed but engineered due to the vast amount of detailing involved in each garment, to which Daiki Suzuki agreed. Details from American sportswear, outdoor clothing and military uniform are all included in the collection and give Engineered Garments unique and practical detailing missing in much clothing today.
