ALTEWAI.SAOME was founded in 2009 in Malmö, Sweden, by the two young designers, Natalia Altewai and Randa Saome. Until then, they had spent several years studying and working for different fashion houses in Italy. ALTEWAI.SAOME is dedicated to create a clothing line consisting of a great variety of womens-wear. The aim is to offer a trendy, chic, yet affordable, style with influences from the street of Paris and Milan.

Maison Labiche was founded in 2010 by two young Parisians: Jenny, designer, and Marie, stylist. Tired of the constraints imposed on them by their jobs, they began to envision a creative outlet that would allow them to start using their hands and minds freely again. Embroidered clothes, accessories, jewelry: each piece is made in their Paris studio and inspired by music, lightness, cosmos, love. Yeah Baby.

Have a look at there latest tee collection featuring a redesigned version of Maison Labiches favourite vinyl albums. Each piece is unique, embroidered with black thread on white cotton.

The artistic jewelry label Black Dakini has designed a special collection for Storm. Black Dakini was launched in 2009 by native Copenhagen artist Cecilia Hellner. Recovering from the early death of her younger brother, Cecilia found comfort in her travels and studies of meditation. Inspired by Tibetan prayer beads and malas, Black Dakini jewels are created using unique gemstones Cecilia gathers along her journeys to far places like Tibet and Nepal.  Exclusively available at Storm.

Orit Elhanati is designing little art pieces, each of them with its own story and concept. Her universe is a kaleidoscopic potpourri of French boudoir, Nordic lightness and childhood memories from Israel. We asked what she loves and what her jewelry is all about;

If you could sum up your look and aesthetic in three lines, what would they be and why ? My jewelry is not a trend, but a style. You either love it or you do not. Even though the jewelry is beautiful and new, they feel old. As an old soul. It's the story in the jewelry which is appealing. My design consist of gold , which is combined with diamonds, opals, rubies and emeralds.

What do you love most about designing and creating your own jewelry? I'm very proud of each and every piece. I spend much time on each style, because it is important to me that the jewelry can be worn as an everyday jewelry. It's my way of working.

Is there a piece from your current collection that you're most proud of? If so, why and what does it mean to you?  Right now I'm very happy with my hand jewelry, which is a new way for the Nordic women to beautifying  themselves , which I find very interesting. My chunk necklace is fantastic. So comfortable to wear,  at the same time a little boyish and decadent.

My goal is beauty. But my jewelry should not only be dekrotive but also personal and timeless , with an artistic expression.

This singular technical, graphic and artistic world allows our label to be fully part of actual fashion, affirming our difference. Waiting For The Sun pretends to represent urban people, chic and casual. A special mix of vintage and actual tendancies, californian laid back and french sophistication.

In this inspired update to the wildly popular 890, the New Balance 890v2 takes "lightest" even lighter! Engineered from the ground up, this neutral trainer is a new kind of lightweight shoe, each part designed with purpose. The full ground contact outsole is just as compatible with midfoot and forefoot strikes as it is with a traditional heel strike. David Shrigley was born in 1968 in Macclesfield, England. He studied fine art at Glasgow School of Art from 1988 to 1991. His work encompasses drawing, sculpture, photography, animation and music. Recent exhibitions include Galleri Nicolai Wallner, BQ, Anton Kern Gallery, Carnegie International and Bergen Konstall. His drawings have appeared in newspapers and magazines such as Esquire, Arena, The Guardian, Le Monde and The New York Times. He has produced animated pop promos for Blur and Bonnie Prince Billy and has produced album artwork for artists such as Deerhoof and Malcolm Middleton. Shrigley is the author of numerous books of drawing details which can be found at Redstone Press. His website is davidshrigley.com.
