Exhibition start 2nd of April 2012 at Storm 

Lord Snowdon is Koto Bolofo’s photographic portrayal of legendary British photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, known to the world as Lord Snowdon. The infamous Snowdon has photographed many icons of the twentieth century including David Bowie, Miuccia Prada, and Gilbert and George, and through his 1960 marriage to Princess Margaret, he has become a privileged photographer to the British Royal
Family. This book is Bolofo’s tribute to Snowdon’s life and work, and a document of the man behind the public persona. Lord Snowdon includes images of old newspaper clippings, as well as Snowdon’s archives and notebooks, making the book the most tender and comprehensive study of Snowdon to date.

David Shrigley was born in 1968 in Macclesfield, England. He studied fine art at Glasgow School of Art from 1988 to 1991. His work encompasses drawing, sculpture, photography, animation and music. Recent exhibitions include Galleri Nicolai Wallner, BQ, Anton Kern Gallery, Carnegie International and Bergen Konstall. His drawings have appeared in newspapers and magazines such as Esquire, Arena, The Guardian, Le Monde and The New York Times. He has produced animated pop promos for Blur and Bonnie Prince Billy and has produced album artwork for artists such as Deerhoof and Malcolm Middleton. Shrigley is the author of numerous books of drawing details which can be found at Redstone Press. His website is davidshrigley.com. Adored by his patrons and admired by his peers, Scott Campbell is known not only for his amazing technique and vision as a tattoo artist, but also as a respected fine artist on the contemporary scene. Both Campbell's artwork and tattoo work are informed by timeless trends of "new antiquarian" style, nineteenth-century hand-lettering, kitsch, and classic tattoo "flash." 
Campbell renders fleeting trends into timeless masterpieces not only on canvas and in sculpture, but also on skin. This book captures both, exemplifying how his tattoo work informs his artwork and vice versa. 
Scott Campbell is a tattoo and fine artist living in Brooklyn and is also the founder of the now legendary studio Saved Tattoo. Al Moran is the co-founder of OHWOW, a gallery and publishing house that provides a platform for progressive art and features both emerging and established artists’ work. Justin Theroux is an actor, screenwriter, and director, and has starred in the films American Pscyho and David Lynch's Mulholland Drive, to name a few. Richard Price is an American novelist and screenwriter, best known for his books The Wanderers andClockers.

This vital new book A Bigger Picture, is published to accompany the exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, 21 January - 9 April 2012.

David Hockney has always been closely associated with Pop Art and California, where he has lived for much of his life but this major study of his work redefines him as an important painter of the English countryside, presenting his recent landscapes for the first time. In an attempt to renew contemporary art, Hockney has returned to painting in the open air, observing with honesty and intensity the scenery of his childhood in East Yorkshire.

Co-curator of the exhibition Marco Livingstone explores this bold departure in the context of Hockney’s sixty-year career, while other contributors address the artist’s place in the landscape tradition, his recent video works and their relationship to English landscape film-making, and his ongoing use of new technologies.

Seydou Keïta
Photographs, Bamako, Mali 1949–1970

Seydou Keïta was born in Bamako, Mali in 1921, then part of the colony of French Sudan and a bustling transportation hub on the route to Dakar. With a Kodak Brownie given to him by his uncle, Keïta took up photography at the age of fourteen, going on to establish what would become Bamako's most successful portraiture enterprise of the 1950s and 60s. Photographs, Bamako, Mali 1949–1970 draws on an expanded archive to offer over 400 portraits, mostly unpublished, from the height of the photographer's productivity in downtown Bamako. Providing lushly patterned backdrops and props that now serve to date distinct periods in his career, the artist often styled his subjects but also encouraged their active participation, hanging sample portraits around the studio as inspiration. Migratory youth, government officials, shop owners and Bamako's cultural elite all make appearances here, and while Keïta's photographs served as both family record and cultural status symbol for the clients who commissioned them, these images have become a lasting visual record of Mali at that time.
